it was time
to leave mexico



she was
not happy
about it.

she thought...



but
i have
made
new friends...



lived
the
high life...



and
learned
so much...



like
how to feed myself



roll over



and
where
my toes are.



why leave
when
we have it
so good?



well
wee vee,
i said,
when all
the leaves
have fallen again
from the trees
in switzerland
we will come back
to
sunny mexico.
you will
no longer
be a wee one.
you will be
able to dip
your toes
in the ocean
and play
with
the
sea turtles.




but i don't
want to go,
thought vee.
i like my life
in diapers.



be patient
wee grub,
i insisted,
it will be
even more fun
next time.
there is
so very much
to look
forward to.
