wegrub: market flowers

not sure
where to begin.
but here i am
again.
same me
but in switzerland
with a little parasite
inside of me.

in a typical
bugheart sort of way
i feel a need
to document it.

21&22weekbelly

is it weird that
i still don't
feel
like a pregnant person?
i have never
been the baby-type...
you know,
the kind who
wants to hold
other people's
newborns.
i have always
known i wanted
to be a mom.
someday,
i always said.
at 36
we needed
to decide
if there was
a someday.

well,
we decided.
and
now
there's a wee grub.

in case
you are wondering
why it's
wee grub
and not
wee bugheart...
well,
it sounds better
but also
grubs are
c-shaped
beetle larvae.
that's kinda
what a growing
baby looks like
to me.
we also call
wee grub,
our F1
or
parasite.
i am
a scientist
afterall.

we won't know
if it's
a boy or girl
'til it's born
either.
we decided
to wait & see.

so here
i'll post
my belly photos
and
just any
baby stuff
that may bore
people
on my other blog.
grub may post
too.
we'll see...

of course
i would love
to hear from
you...
advice & thoughts.
this is all
new to me.

  7. I remember you used to say that if you had a boy, you'd name him "Basil".
